OUR RHYTHMS

  1. GATHER TOGETHER
  2. GO TOGETHER
  3. SERVE TOGETHER

We follow the example laid for us that Christians have been pursuing for centuries. We GATHER TOGETHER on Sundays to worship God, by proclaiming the Gospel, preaching the Bible unapologetically, singing praises, praying fervently, and remembering Christ in the ordinances of Communion and Baptism.

We understand the church should never be restricted to a building. Which is why we GO TOGETHER throughout the week as we dive deeper into God’s Word, fellowship, and seek to be missional. We can be found meeting in smaller groups in homes and local establishments as we make disciples and equip the saints.

As we scatter throughout the week, we recognize the massive needs of our neighborhood, our city, the nation, and around the world. Our mission is to meet these needs head-on through SERVING TOGETHER. We are serious about proclaiming the Gospel as we engage the public school system, reduce the hunger rate through food distribution, become involved in foster care ministry, give hope to the drug addicted and homeless, as well as giving and serving in the U.S and abroad!

EVERY LOCAL CHURCH HAS A BEGINNING

The Devereaux’s, Tanner and his wife Naomi moved to Omaha in 2022 with the call to plant a church for all people. On a mission trip here to Omaha, they had an opportunity to experience a worship service that would change their lives forever. They saw people from all walks of life, multiple ethnicities, and various races all worshiping God together in one place. People with tattoos, people in suits, cops, and criminals made up the congregation that Sunday morning. It was that day that God began to call them to Omaha to plant a church that looked like the throne room of heaven.

Through prayer, diligence, some difficulties, and collaboration with other local churches, networks, and associations. God has blessed us with a powerful group of leaders, members, and even a local church building!

Acts 2:42-47 has been the model for planting Imago Dei. The church isn’t specifically a place, it is a body of called out believers in Jesus Christ. We have our humble beginnings meeting in living rooms and back porches, all the while continuing steadfastly in the Word, fellowship, the breaking of the bread, and prayer.
